This year is a lot easier to level attributes. VC will start coming in pretty quickly based on your performance and the endorsements. Last year my player ended up at 83 overall. Been playing this year's game for 4 days now and he's at 78 already.
Just keep playing and don't stress the ratings...you don't need to be great at everything from the start, just make sure you know which stats to prioritize for your playstyle.
78 after 4 days sounds pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ decent :D
yeah maybe i will get rolling with vc when i get more sponser etc, lets see

Yeah, I get 1000 salary per game and another 700-800 for endorsements every game. Then every 5 or 6 games I get about 3000 in endorsement events.
Adding to that you can get lucky and get 1000-2000 with the wheel spin and another 2500 for the red ball/blue ball event every day (which is not hard to win).
If you're good/lucky you can also earn 25.000vc a day with the dodgeball event, but it's not that easy, especially if it lags for you like it does for me.

And that's without even touching the park :)

How'd you manage that contract? I'm getting 750 every game, around 300 in endorsements and 1500 every 6 games for events, tried negotiating for a better deal but they wouldn't hear it. This is with both Nike, Foot Locker and Gatorade

depends on your performance while playing the prelude.1000 is max i think

I'm not playing until they fix the shoe endorsement

Just play my career games, do the team practices and upgrade badges. It is not that hard. My character is already at rating of 79, not spent a penny. You also get extra from endorsments,etc.. (I have 3 or 4 atm).

Exactly. I had 3 teams offering me 1000 at the end of the prelude. I completed all but 1 of the optional goals for the prelude matches.
As for the endorsements I went for the incentives first (except gatorade, where I went for the energy first), then when the higher level contracts came and I had the rest maxed they started throwing crazy money for the events.

I'm at 82 Ovr at the moment, haven't spent any money too...
I used the 0 minute method before they patched it, gained like 50-75k VC off of that i believe, then just started playing park, career, and I still need around 50-70k VC to fully max my MyPlayer.
