Now on Allstar your teammates stop being retarded most of the time, they'll slash and run to an open spot way more often, try to spread the offense instead of going 1v1 all the time and so on, but at the same time i ended up winning every game too easily.
Then i switched to Superstar, and while it balanced itself out better in that i was able to lose games now, it felt almost exactly like HoF when it came to my teammates, meaning they started doing all the stupid ♥♥♥♥ i wanted to avoid.
Personally i just decided i'm gonna take a break and wait for a few patches, since i want a tough time winning games, but not because my teammates start playing like a junior team.
But to answer you question; Allstar seems to be the best one, atleast from my experience.
Now it feels like HoF just makes your team incapable of playing junior varsity basketball
All star is what iv'e been playing on..
It's just easier for you to score on lower difficulty levels
and the opponent honestly, is ridiculous.
Switched to player lock on Myleague and it feels less "scripted" and more realistic. 3 point shooting tendencies and percentages were still a bit high but not as bad. The tuning patch may have corrected that.
I really wanted to like mycareer this year but it feels like an arcade game regardless of the difficulty you set it on. Try out Myleague and the new Create-a-Player option with player-lock set on All star (but set the slider for CPU defensive awareness to 50 to make all things equal) is my recommendation.
I'll pass to a guy wide open in the corner and have them immediately pass it back to me.
I'll get doubled or tribled by their defence, and not a single one of my teammates is gonna run to an open spot, meaning 4 guys somehow gets defended by 2 people since they refuse to move, and even if i somehow DO manage to pass it to an open guy, they'll most times immediately pass it back to me, despite still having half the opposing teams players locking me down, and if i try to pass it back again they'll just send it back to me once more.
And this is still only some of the issues, there's just so many that it would take me hours to write it all down, it's absolutely infuriating.
No problem on superstar atm personally, also my pacers are now 2nd in the ast with a 5 game winning streak since the patch. Hate to say Git Gud, but I havn't experienced any of this "Patch broke the game" talk that I have been seeing. Hope things improve for you though, I am arguably doin better though after the patch tbh.
Superstar? Try playing on Hall of Fame, then you'll know what we're talking about. Getting "gud" has nothing to do with our gameplay. My player (a 75 overall) excels and I dominate but we're talking about things we can't control (especially if you are not a point guard) like your A.I teammates and the CPU opponent.
I'm not looking for players to carry me, but rather for players to play logically. If Nurkic is standing completely wide open below the rim, why is he passing it back out? If I have 3 people defending me, why does no one else move to get open? And why do they pass it back to me immediately if i try to pass myself out of this situation?
Sorry if this comes off a bit aggressive, i'm just truly irritated about the game experience i've had so far, but i'm glad someone is having fun with the game.
