Purchase from game website usable on steam?
Wondering for those of us who bought the game early on before it was on steam if we could activate it on steam and have it added to our steam library when the time comes.

The developers have IIRC stated that supporters will receive a key once the Alpha is out in August. Me and my friends have not received our keys yet, so I'd assume that's the case.

Yup, if you purchased the game through VOID's website you'll eventually recieve a Steam key you can activate to add the game to your library :)

These keys haven't been sent out yet, though. They'll most likely be sent around the time the testing periods begin (August 2019 for Alpha, June 2020 for Beta), if not before that.

Thanks, can't wait. RS6 was a bit of a let down to the genre so looking forward to this.

Rainbow six wasn't a let down, the let down was them cancelling patriots, siege was never supposed to be what ready or not is supposed to.

Be safe and wait until it's actually available on Steam. You never know what Epic Games is going to buy up.

Yea Epic Games is the #1 reason why i wont buy borderlands 3 until it releases on steam.

This is why I’ve not bought the game on the website because in today’s gaming market you cannot trust the devs. Sorry to the ones who stand by and honour it but you just cannot trust them.

With the way things are going with the Epic and various devs right now, it further reinforces my hypothesis that RON will not become an exclusive to that store.
