Fencing
Is there any way to craft ground fences for keeping in livestock?

This would interest me, fences without foundations! To bound your ground, and other thing, a wood structure like at the enter of a ranch!
I was thinking about this. Keep out the bears and other unwanted animals. Great post Pepe LE PewPew.
yes use either half walls or you cant use the fort building tool (long saw) for fencing / pallisades

There is also the cement shovel builders tool for brickwork or the repair looking mallet for plank structures.
I agree. It would be great to be able to build fencing without having to use foundation. Looks chunky.

Great suggestion.

Would love to see a simple low fence or even a fence foundation for the railings. And a gate to go with it.

You can use the big ones, but the OP wanted a fence. They are far from a fence and use a ton of resources. We need an inexpensive fence. Kind of like the railing, but no foundation needed for it.

Agreed - Ideally fencing that works over non-flat terrain.

(I know this isn't ark, but....) one of the ARK mods (S+) has a fence foundation that snaps to itself with optional angles, and that (most importantly) can deal with uneven terrain as the foundations stay level so that the railings then go inside the ground where it needs to, and you can add a second level of railings if you need additional height in those spots.

Having fencing that looks good on uneven land is important!
Try placing vertical support posts and installing your choice of walls between them.

Where would I find the Fort Building Tools (long saw)? ... I have been through all my objects and menus and couldn't find. Is it an Add-On we need to get ?

Thanks for any help. I play PVE and my horse and donkey were gone when I logged in after a few hours break. Either wild animals claimed them or other players ?

Ya, the long saw makes the fort stuff.
