Blaze thank you, already tried that obviously and if you bothered to check your own search the answer isnt there.....
so you know the answer to his question but you want him to search 16 pages instead? big hit at parties no doubt
because the only way you would know the answer is in those 16 pages is either A. because you read them all or B. you already know the answer
Ya, it is a sandbox game where you make your own content. You won't find anything but different terrain and biomes on single player. Up north there are skunks and beavers, but none down south. That is the only kind of differences besides other biome changes like the temperature and trees.
well to be fair 7 days to die is also a sandbox game and it has towns. It would be nice if they added a few but to be honest if MMO sandbox is their focus it makes sense not to because within a week most players will already have towns built
or even just a Steam Workshop where players can make maps with towns etc (not terrain changes that would be too much for this specific graphics engine).
that of course, for single player would require a more elegant way to have multiple worlds, files, profiles
I would like to see something that looks like a cave but leads to a box canyon. This would be a mini game like the mines are. Inside the box canyon would be all the different bandits.
true that!
agreed having this much in the game already within 2 weeks of Early Access is matched by nobody I can think of. Other than AAA exploit games that are already completed but they decide to release as 'early access'
Scratch that. The lack of being able to prevent others from building around your structres and also being unable to destroy others' reliably, has caused the town to be massively griefed with staircases. A shame.. I dunno why others like to ruin peoples' fun with a broken mechanic.
You've played other games on official PvP servers with persistent worlds I assume. Did you see it work well there? Just possibly, this is one truly unsolvable problem.
The solution I think, is to play on a private server, but that is just me.
In PvE, I think there is a build radius. There might be one or two other modes that you can play this game in too that have a build radius. I think there is a mode that prevents base raiding, but allows killing players.
Sure will be great when the wiki is updated and this stuff can be easily looked up.
