Admin Console Commands
Anyone know the admin console commands, how to add names/SteamID in the Admin.txt
And last of it, what are useable admin commands.

Thanks.

***EDIT SINCE I FOUND OUT***

How do I become an admin?
To become Admin on your Outlaws server, you take your Steam64ID
SteamID Finder[steamidfinder.com]

and go outlaws/saved/AdminList.txt.

Just enter your ID there. With multiple admins, write the Steam64IDs just below each other. Then you save the file and restart your server once.

Console Activation

The key combination to activate the console is SHIFT + ~

The console will be visible at the bottom of the screen.

Now you write ActivateAdmin to activate you as an admin

Now when you press ESC, the Admin menu pops up

Admin Commands

GMBuff: buffs player health and stamina to unlimited and stops hunger/thirst.
Teleport x y: Teleport to the given coordinates (coordinates correspond to map in-game).
DestroyTarget: Destroys the target at center of aim. Will leave nothing behind.
KillTarget: Applies max damage to target at center of aim.
RefreshAdminTextList: Reload Admin list from file.
RefreshBanTextList: Reload Ban list from file.

Toggle Console
If you have any language keyboard, you will need to add another language to your keyboard
English (United States)
You need to be outside of the game if you want the game to apply the new language setting.
Once you've entered the game:
Press Shift + ~
Now that you are in English (United States) the ~ will be the key right over your TAB for any language keyboard.

You had the admin commands, and a cheat table for single player, what else could you possible need?

Often you can look up at the top of the Steam page - just below where Store Library Community buttons are, & it will display your Steam id in green text.

I also believe it can be found by one of the tab options in small text at the top of the Steam page.

I too am having a lot of trouble getting Admin commands to work in single-player game. I am in USA, & the tilde key does indeed work (I use it on our other game servers to access admin commands). I also have my Steam ID number, which again I have used in other servers we operate.

I followed all the above instructions - created the AdminList.txt file in the proper folder. Typed in "ActivateAdmin" after pressing Shift + ~, but then nothing new appeared after pressing the ESC key???

Can someone clearly state if this game allows Admin commands in single-player?? It seems that admin commands do not work in single-player mode.

And if they do not work in single-player mode, then why not?? I think this should be automatically allowed since it is a very good way to test out various things, without having to grind every time.

yes, you can access console in single player.

to summarize :

to access game console :

1 - Go to game options and change a key, this will create a "input.ini" at :

C:\Users\USER NAME\AppData\Local\Outlaws\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

2 - edit input.ini on 22nd line for
ActionMappings(ActionName="Console",Key=Tilde,bShift=True,bCtrl=False,bAlt=False,bCmd=False)

3 - change "Tilde" to "Subtract"

4 - change bShift=True to bShift=False

Now, console will open with " - " on numpad

Curious as to why I would need to change the tilde key to subtract key? The tilde key combination does indeed open the console box at the bottom of the game screen. So other than opening the console box with a different key, I don't quite understand what this would change?

My problem is after entering ActivateAdmin & pressing Enter. The ESC menu doesn't give me any different options.
Thanks in advance for any answer.

For Singleplayer :

Edit the AdminList.txt file found at :

...\SteamApps\common\Outlaws of the Old West\WindowsServer\Outlaws\Saved

Put your Steamid in the AdminList.txt file like this (I am not sure which of the 4 styles of entering the ID actually works and once I got it working I really didn't care to muck around to find out.

Obviously the above number is made up, but it is the right number of numerals as my own.

@Merck because non american keyboards can't get the key to work, even with admin rights.

Changing a random key, ensures to generate the file. then, the console key can be changed, for those that can't get the keyboard to work and open the console.

ofcourse the expeerience is going to be a bit different from system to system.

the steam ID in the example, is a generic example, you see it on you're own profile and it's the last 17 numbers that you copy from you're own profile, which will vary from profile to profile.
