I grew up subjected to westerns on a daily basis also in B&W for some and for a period of time for all until a color TV came into the picture. Have seen tons of western movies as well. All of the old Clint Eastwood ones willingly and multiple times.
Just imagine if more youngsters were able to see such classics, & not a lot of this garbage that the system pumps out today. Some of the same people that constantly complain about how guns are bad, but then make shows filled with nothing but guns every second. These are the same nut cases who banned cigarettes from TV shows & movies, claiming they caused youngsters to want to smoke.
Why don't these same people ban guns from TV shows & movies?? The answer is the same as why they don't outlaw cigarettes - it makes them too much money!
And unfortunately, society is getting real good at blaming others for actions we ourselves take.
You didn't learn that from the classic Westerns!
