I believe this is a good game, but remember that it is very EA (Early Access). So don't get too "attached" to anything at this time, since my be bugs, & wipes. My group has a server & we have only wiped once since beginning our server over a month ago. Last update we didn't wipe & everything still working good.
There are a group of players that are very negative about the game (as is apparently "normal" for all games - especially EA games). They constantly complain & deride the game. Apparently someone "twisted" their arm & forced them to buy this game....
This is a "sandbox" game, so you will have to make of it what you want it to be. There is all kinds of things you can do in the game. Don't restrain yourself to what everyone else is doing, go out & find what you can do with it! I think you may then find it quite fun.
But does it feel empty if you play it offline or not? I mean, is there a good amount of interaction with npc? (Even though it still in EA it's okay)
