Check what programs are you running in the background.
Keep lowering the settings till it's stable and let us know.
There's also a chance that whatever AV you're running doesn't like the game, try adding it to the Whitelist
My game runs fine as well
i5 4670k @4.3GHz
16gb DDR3 @2133MHz
1080TI @2000MHz
250gb Samsung Evo
try optimizing your nvidia control pannel for gaming
I tried the following steps.
I hope this also solves your problem. (In my case, the game runs smoothly at 60 fps now)
Happy gaming :)
nvidia control pannel can help you big time how many hz is ur monitor the lag could also be low refresh rate on a monitor if its an older one like from 2010 and lower
i got this issue today as well, and after some digging, i realised that you need to delete the "OptionConfig.ini" in the installation folder after you switch to "High-Performance NVIDIA processor", then it should run smoothly.
He's just saying your machine is crap basically and if it was actually running at 10fps you genuinely do unfortunately. Your friend's machine wasn't mmuch better if it didn't run much better too. Read the min specs before you buy a game and CHECK yours against the minimum ones. If it's running that badly you clearly didn't do that. The game having issues isn't on their end it's literally your hardware.
