Can anyone use controller?

I am currently using Windwos 10 and I have tried Xbox one, Xbox 360 and ps4 controller. None of them can be recognized by the game. Can anyone help?

I think I found a way to solve this problem. The developer of this game only provides a steam controller configuration. You can edit the controller configuration and select a generic xbox/PS4 controller configuration and then it works.

it seemed to work for me when i unplugged my controller and replugged it while the game was running

Short answer, I used the gamepad under template in the controller configurations.

The official gamepad didn't work for me. I spent a lot of time trying to get it to work, it turns out, all I needed was the regular gamepad under templates and the game works better. Before, the characters wouldn't even move and I tried multiple gamepads.
