Yellow Star in trading window

Hi all! I saw a little yellow star on the items in the trading window. First I tought that these Items have good prices, but then I recognized that I could not sell or buy them, although there are items in stock. Can anyone explain me the meaning of the star?

Hello Calathea,

the stars in the trading window do indeed indicate that you can generally trade those goods at better prices with traders of that species, but it still can happen that there's no offer or demand for them at a certain point.
But I can see how that could be confusing - we'll think of a clearer way to visualize this, working on the trading window is one of our priorities right now anyway.

Overworking this would be nice, thanks for your response! It´s even so that the trader has e.g. 5 Medicine to sell with a yellow star and I can´t buy it. So there are many questionmarks (perhaps not only for me) why you can´t buy these products. Hope my english is good enough, so you can understand what I mean. Thanks!! :) BTW: lovely, nice game - sorry for the bad reviews - keep up the good work! :)

Also worth checking there is enough energy available, as it is not always clear that this is what is obstructing trade - there might also be other causes I'm not clear about.

Something like highlighting the trader's (or your own) energy in red and making an 'error' sound would make it clear that the available energy is the problem... Or whatever design stuff makes sense.
