So, when first on the tutorial screen with the knife: ENTER (selects knife), ENTER (selects "Move"), then Q will move it over to the inventory boxes? Once in there, THEN we use A\S\D\W?
Following my above assumption, once within the inventory and moving to a blank slot, what then? I have pressed ENTER, 'F'.... nothing happens.
I've tried using the mouse to click "Move" next to the knife, but then other than the Move banner disappearing, nothing happens and using Q to go to the inventory gives no option to place the knife.
What a bad design. I've tried every possible method and i'm pretty stuck here now! Not happy.
1) Hit enter to select the item
2) Hit enter to select "Move" (after the tutorial there will be other options too that you can scroll through)
3) move with Q (mouse works sometimes too)
4) Hit enter to lock in place of the open inventory box.
Don't know why drop and drag was so hard to do, but the above is what works for me.
1) Hit enter to select the item
2) Hit enter to select "Move" (or up and down arrows to select other options)
3) Use mouse to click on the inventory slot you want the item to go to
4) Hit enter to lock in place
I think I miss drag and drop more than being able to use arrow keys to move (as a left-hander)!
I've tried your method, still no luck :-(
