Roland Banks disappeared from my party after the 4th mission

When selecting who will go for the 5th mission, he's missing. Anyone else encountered this bug?

did you select him during mission 4? if so did you rescue him? If you do not rescue your partner it will be gone after that mission I think

I did chose him as my partner for mission 4 and even rescued him.

happened to me too. apparently he is healing his traumas, but he's nowhere to be found in the office.

I started a new game again and just finished mission 4, he's in the office now. This is definitely a bug.

Yeah. But I didn't try finishing mission 5, maybe he'll be back again after that.

I doubt it. I just started the game over. Then in my stupor, I forgot to open the chest in mission 3. So I missed out on the .45 pistol and some ammo, fml. And the mission forces you to end when you kill the baddies in the broiler room. I kind of hate this game. They need to allow players to replay levels. Not the entire game. Bah!

Yup, this happened to me as well. I rescued Caroline Fern in Mission 4 and upon returning to the office she's gone. This sucks. I don't want to play the entire game again up to this point. I just replayed scenario 4 because another glitch caused me to get stuck in a place that I shouldn't have been able to access yet because I hadn't solved the riddle that gets me there. Please give me back my investigator. What was the point of saving her if she's just gone after this anyway? -.-

Same for me, Agatha Crane disappeared after scenario 4. However when I started scenario 5, Marie Lambeau appeared without explanation in the office. Very weird.

Can confirm, same thing here. Started the game with Jenny as my main investigator. I rescued her in mission 4. When I began mission 5 she was no longer an option to choose as investigator. When mission 5 was over, suddenly Marie Lambeau is in my investigator pool.

I have the same problem with Agatha Crane at the end of the mission 4, even if i save her. For Marie Lambeau, i unlock her normaly in mission 5. You must go at the illegal bar after see Lanuit the first time, you have a combat to save her. BUT if you see Lanuit with the symbol of the ancient, you can't do the fight. Hopefully, it seem you still unlock her at the end of the mission.

Thank you for explaining this. She just popped up in the office randomly for me as well after I used the elder sign to speak with Lanuit. I walked past the bar, but there wasn't any interaction other than that the dead lady commented on people not taking prohibition very seriously. I never realised I missed something in this scenario, but it did seem awefully short and easy compared to the previous ones...

After Mission 3, Carolyn Fine never showed up. And after Mission 4, Agatha Crane disappeared as a choice. In my first play through I had 4 investigators to choose from for mission 5, but this time I don't. I'm annoyed because I wanted Agatha for later missions where I got to choose all 3, her Init bonus is wicked good.

I chose Roland for my partner with Kate Winthrop for the fourth mission. Then, before rescuing him, I went back to the office and got different gear. I changed my mind and chose Agatha Crane as my partner for Kate Winthrop. I rescued Agatha, though her dialogue had no audio for the rest of the level. After I finished the level with Kate, Rex, and Agatha--BOTH Rex and Agatha were no longer available for the rest of the game. That sucked! I found out Rex was a better partner than I thought, though.
