what is the benefit from medals and gold within the campaign?

Under SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS there is a Network requirement with Broadband Internet connection listed. Why is this listed as a requirement? Do I have to be online to play?

Wow. I just came across this game and it looks awesome. What I can't believe it that its received so little attention. It looks like a game I'd like to sink my teeth into. However, is it still being developed? I do not see any updates since the release. Future plans?...

I thought I would post some of the reviews we have been getting here, in short - the game does really well with people who are open to it being a bit different (ie hard and more puzle like). We had some bad reviews where people seem to expect something more passive without so much strategy. In a future update we will add content for those people who want to just zone ot and play the game.
