So I just saw the screen at the desk flicker and an alien was spying on me. I didn't quite see what room he was standing in as it happened so fast. Yes. I shat myself. I also keep hearing something about a boot? Where do I find it?

I got that alien spying too, I think he was right behind us behind the angle between the livingroom and the office (?) - but I dont know anything about the boot...

There's a sneaker and a 'recorder' to find out there. When you see a sneaker on a rock, pick it up, then LOOK up.

The recorder will be off toward antenna 1.

I just had that happen to me. Good thing I went to the can before I started playing or I'd have made a big mess. Got another scare though, when I went into the bathroom I could barely make out a form out of the window like something was ducking down.

Guess you had the radio on... turn the radio off and wait until next time they pop on the screen... listen very carefully to right behind you just after the monitor image. >:)

Oh the dev has put a few nope moments in this game... to the point where paranoia is a good reutine lol every day now doors must be locked and checked. I have also found two items and only one gave something interesting... the problem is this... what else has the dev put in!?? lol

Just had the alien flicker myself, is it bad my first instinct was to rush around the whole center checking every corner trying to find it :P? .....then I locked every door and turned on all the lights. There's not enough infinite coffee to deal with this now

I saw that just now briefly out of the corner of my eye when I had just finished downloading and decoding a repeating radio signal that said "It was greenish and I have start chocking", made me jump a bit and I'm a bit scared of turning around in the game now. XD

Just wait until you see the flicker and realize what room he's peeking in from. Yes, with all doors closed, he's peeking in.

There's also a little possibility of something when you open the bathroom door.
