"The Favorite" Achievement

Hi guys! I'm having technical problems with this achievement (the favorite). I know I have to use the "banana" ability (wearing the banana suit) close to Queen banana boss.
However, in my first run, the ability didn't work, when I press the button, nothing happens (Vlad doesn't wear any suit). In my second run it seems that the ability partially works (Vlad wears the suit) but it doesn't affect to the monkeys neither to Queen banana. I'm just in front of her, wearing the suit (no enemies around) and being hitted until death... it is quite frustrating. The achievement, of course, doesn't pop up. Any suggestions? Does anyone have the same problem than me?

PD: any piece of advice to get: "Three warriors", "Cleanliness" and "Hunting Myths" are also welcome!!! :D
