is there any news or information about the official english translation?

There is some news but no fixed date. In the most recent fan Q&A session, the main dev mentioned that their community manager discovered the English Reddit and Discord communities for Taiwu. The team was very surprised and happy to see an overseas fan base and got in touch with the Discord team that was doing the English translation mod. Below is the announcement from the mod maker:

"I've got some wonderful news for you.

A few days ago I was contacted by a staff member of Taiwu Scroll Studio, and we had a pleasant chat.

He said that the people at the studio were surprised to discover this server, and that they wanted to express their gratitude to us for creating it, making excellent translation mods, and fostering a great environment for the overseas players.

He has announced that their official team is currently preparing for English localization, with a priority on translating game systems and gameplay.
However because they are still not done with the story, at first only the early parts of Taiwu's storyline will be translated, and the translation of later parts will happen later.
The LQA (Localization Quality Assurance) for the official English localization is scheduled for February 2024.

When the official localization comes out, they will look forward to receiving suggestions about the game, and would appreciate people pointing out any inaccuracies in the language!"
