The controller is working weird

I use XBOX controller It acting weird...
Maybe it's not my controller's problem
Is the only way to use Keyboard for playing this game?

I use a knockoff xbox controller and it works great for me, the game even let me assign the controll keys the first time i opened the game

What is ass, it locked me off of starting the game for several minutes, I had to disconnect my Logitech G29 to assign controls but reconnecting (either with game started or before starting the game) makes the game read the G29 as PS4 controller and it all goes to hell from there as it reads the pedal (that is constant read) as down and I have to keep the pedal in the middle so it stops reading as either up or down, game can not differenciate controller from G29 and I would be forced to play with the G29 not with controller (despite assigning inputs with controller).

I doubt any dev will read this but you guys did a very poor job here, rare to have a game work like that and the Bloodstained Ritual of the Night work fine with G29 still inserted (and the G29 is never even recognized as input device by Ritual of the Night) so I dont know how you guys could mess this badly here as my PS4 controller is even recognized form the get go at Ritual of the Night without need for calibration of inputs.
