And that's why I think Nightmare's End (for ignoring them all) is the actual ending because that one says "Fin", plus the other reason with the ending itself that I won't spoil.
This. It's the only ending that ends with a question mark, hinting at something that comes after.
The game is in fact some kind of another timeline, but since when "spin-off" equal "non-canon"?
But its not "Mega Man" world. Although the way its framed is like MegaMan 2, the building is straight out of Azure Striker Gunvolt.
So if that ending ever lead to anything, it would be a Gunvolt crossover (but its probably just a joke ending)
