Flickering...Bug or or kinda retro shader ?!?

Hi,

first of all I like this game, it´s like a timetravel back into my childhoud. And I´m glad that some one take care of this famouse franchise!

Anyway.. I got one problem. The background graphics is flickering when you move on. Look at he video, minute 2:09, so you can see what I mean.

Is this a bug or kinda retro shader?

Please fixs this or give us the chance to toggle the shader on /off. It´s really stressfull on a 32" LCD with 144 mhz (or 60 mhz).

Yes it do. Wait for full "quality" 1080p or above.

On 480p, the video dosen´t flicker, right.

Even on my Laptop it is flickering like hell. And my budy got this flickering too. Even when we play on the lowest possible resoloution (800x600) with 56 mhz.

EVEN on the lowest res. . Dosen´t matter wich res. or refresh rate I use, on different rig´s, the backround is flickering.

But I´ve found a soloution. I use the app Borderles gaming and running the game windowed. No flickering.

Turned up the resolution and it still doesn't happen.
Probably something with your Display. That 56Hz refresh rate is it most likely like waynsky said already.

But doesn't really matter if you fixed it already ig.

Normaly...I play with 144mhz on 1080p.

First I tought my refresh rate is way to high for this game and srew it step by step down, until I reached 56 mhz.

It seems to be a issue with a fullscreen play. On windowed game, no flickering or shimmering.

Try the App "Borderles gaming" and run the game windowed. That fixed (for me) the issue.
