What does MEN stat do?
At first I thought it's skill damage,but no,that's TEC, so wtf does MEN affect? Resistances is my best guess,but tbh I have no clue.

And why there are elemental resistances?

My guess is damage is first calculated against whatever values MEN translate to, then reduced or increased by elemental resistances.

First reduction is probally Men stat, then resistances, if yoyu have less than 100 resist (neutral) you'll see it say "Weak" on the chars portrait when she gets hit with that element.

ATK = Physical Damage
DEF = Physical Defense
TEC = Magic Damage
MEN = Magic Defense
AGI = Turn Order
LUC = Who the hell knows.

Elemental resistance reduce the damage additionally. How it is calculated is not really important, since the customization is not in-depth enough to affect gear decisions. Usually better gear is all-around better.

LUC is crit chance and dodge.

As to gear I sitll use some I got in Ch1,it higly depends on what stat is upgraded and what stats I actually need.

I'm not 100% sure,cause there's no tutorial on stats or in-depth combat mechanics,but I think LUC changes hits into misses sometimes.

I've seen a boss dodge before, but most of the game I have not seen a miss.

Would it not make more sense for AGI to translate to evasion rate and hit rate as well as turn order? There are skills that increases hit rate and evasion rate and It seems odd for luck to be the chosen sat for that when LUC is generally reserved for things like crit rate. We don't see an increase in crits when someone has their hit and evasion rates buffed, so it would make sense that they are tied to another stat like AGI.

The archer/gunner etc... class group has the highest hit/evasion rate in general and they are usually first in the turn order, they are also usually the party member with the highest AGI stat which further supports the theory that AGI determines hit rate and evasion rate.

AGI sure does translate to evassion rate,but like I said,I suspect LUC might make an additional "roll"to chceck if a calculated hit can't be turned into a miss.

Ah right, in that case LUC probably adds some kind of RNG value to all active based stats like ATT, TEC and AGI. ATT and TEC resulting in a little more damage with a high LUC roll as an example. I mean that could not be the case at all, but it seems a little redundant for LUC to only affect evasion rate, although I imagine it dictates crit chance too.

It 100% dictates crit chance,I said so before. I think you might be right about it affecting all other stats a little tbh. Seems reasonable.

I have an inkling that MEN also affects healing received. I just noticed that Alice as a paladin receives at least 100 more healing than Kaguya as an Archer from Thumbelina as a therapist (characters are all around level 22-24.) They should receive roughly the same amount of healing if the their stats are not affecting anything. You should be able to notice differences in the numbers too when using a party heal skill.
