This game or Moero Chronicles?
Or recommend any other titles? Looking for another dungeon crawler.

Last one played was Stranger of Sword City, which was OK but late game combat basically reolved around mindlessly spending 20 turns buffing the party then keeping the buffs up while slowly chipping away at enemy hp. Looking for something with more interesting combat mechanics. Moero because the pokemon-esque party composition seemed interesting, and also has protagonist doing somehting on the side and not in actual combat.

I don't think that has a PC release out or announced, does it?

I didn't like Moero. It was super repetitive with its random encounters. To the point where you could barely make 3 steps without another enemy popping up. Best case scenario - your party was super strong and you could hold the "skip animation" button and just spam auto attacks to win. Worst - you actually had to manually deal with this stuff every 2 minutes.

Granted, if you can live with it, the rest of the game is moderately fun.

StarCrawlers and Vaporum are pretty fun.

Why not both? Not gonna talk about Moero since i would be biased since i 100% the game but i do vouche for the repetitive nature of the game, then again it's an dungeon crawler jrpgs...what did ppl expect?

I've nearly 100% Moero Chronicle and I'm waiting to continue my mod for it. But yes, the random encounter rates do get ridiculous over time and is even more of a problem when you get into dungeons in late game. Can't comment on this game here because I've not played it on the Vita (don't own one and its basically dead in the US anyway at this point - only Sony is to blame for that).
The only correct answer is yes.

Really need to get IFI to bring Moero Crystal over. Which adds even more monstergrills and double rubbing!

Most jrpgs in general get pretty repetive pretty fast, thats why I prefer the more action oriented ones like Tales of Berseria and such. It comes with the genre though, so it doesn't bother me at all.

Probally never going to happen due to how much of a prude american's tend to be. Graphic violence! A-OK!, Show a breast? or even slightly erotic imagry OH NO! Can't have that. Yet graphical realistic representation of someone getting their head, or limbs ripped off is perfectly fine, but a anime char dressed skimpy is just too much to deal with.

Companies also need to grow some balls and learn to ignore SJW, femnists and other minority groups who don't even buy their products in the first place. Let them complain about it, all they have to say is: "We don't force you to play it, so if you don't like the content, don't play it" its really that simple. Some random idiot getting offended over a game is not going to stop the average gamer from trying it anyway. Then again.. Welcome to America today, where almost everyone is a special flower who gets offended by any little random thing.

Even when we do get these games they tend to be butchered, and have content removed that isin't really offensive, good example is the Mugen Souls games, alot of stuff was cut out that wasn't even that bad in the first place. Agarest War 2, a game published by Ghostlight had 2 or more cg's removed, involving the hot springs scenes in Gen 1 and 2.

This, it is in my opinion the best JRPG Dungeon Crawler after Dungeon Travellers 2.

Do you mind me asking what mod you are working on? Wouldn't mind playing Moero again before they release Crystal, if they ever do...

Both, Moeru for vice and Skelter for violence. It all depends if you're in a monmusu mood or a higurashi mood.

What if I'm in the "great dungeon crawler" mood?

Then go for Elminage or Labyrinth Of Refrain.

Or Grimrock if you don't mind non-turn based combat, Vaporum is also nice and in that camp, but i felt like it needed more content and it's a bit too short.

Mary Skelter has far more solid gameplay. The beat dungeon Crawler I played from Compile Heart. MeiQ I have yet to test.

I found MeiQ disappointing but love Mary Skelter and Dungeon Travellers 2.
