I don't understand penalizing people for wanting an easier time.
What the hell? My problem is that the game is too easy not hard you pink blooded turd.
Then why do you feel spoken to? Besides, your argument is nill. You can grind Exp on any difficulty. And hey, you can simply never devolve, so your characters don't get the extra skillpoints.
And it's not even like Dark Souls, where you could start blabbering on about how you got the 2 illusory rings in your first run. Here you have a boss that hits twice for 300-450 hp and has like 5000+ hp. If you just walk to him in a straight line with a team, he will wipe the floor with you, simply because math.
So, either you are grinding, overleveling and complaining that the game allows you to grind, or you haven't progressed anywhere yet and just compain ahead of time. Both would result in my initial statement. So git gud.
smh: the post
Real question is: is it worth going higher difficulty since balance is non-existant and 90% skills in this game are wortheless.
Honestly? if there isin't a achievement for clearing the game above normal, I don't see the point of making yourself have a harder time than you need to.. Unless your a masochist anyway. Mind you some games are more fun when enemies are more dangerious. Even then I usually save it for a NG+ if the game has one.
Well, more exp means that you get cooler abilities and higher levels faster with less grind, while also having a healthy challenge. If a game tells me that it lets me level faster AND fight stronger enemies, i always pick this option.
I mean, yeah, its an exhaggeration, but when choosing, i always imagine two situations - First one, in which i basically just auto-combat my way through dungeons without ever needing to use a skill, and a second one where 3 party members are down and i combine "Uber-Mega-Flare" with "Heaven's Ultimate Judgement" in a last ditch effort to rip the victory from the jaws of death.
What sounds more fun?
