Operation Thunderstorm still not starting (Black screen with blue loading ring)

I have done all recommended steps to getting this to work. I have a very modern rig.

I have downloaded and installed K-Lite Codec in case it is a video issue, I have set the game to run as administrator, and have tried all methods of compatability modes. I installed patch 101a. I have run out of things to try. Can anyone who has got this to work offer some insight please?

try renaming or deleting the video files inside the game's folder, i had the same issue with code of honor 2 and that worked

works ok on my windows 7 pc but not on windowss 10 blank screen

You've probably fixed it or moved on but in case you check back or someone else has the same problem.
It sounds like the same problem I had an is related to windows full screen optimisation and games running on the Lithtech engine.
Try going to the game directory open properties for game.exe and under compatibilities tab tick "disable full screen optimisations"

Any of the newest computers won't be able to run it very well or at all. I bought it for $1.99 and tried it on Windows 10. What a mess with the screen resolution. Not even worth the 25 minutes I played it.
Forget trying to run it on Windows 11. LOL
