Is it possible to create a card game in Pixel Game Maker MV?

Yeah a basic card game would be fairly straight forward to pull off. Just depends on how in depth you are going with it.

You would need to learn and get familiar with how to use the database and mouse functions.

Being possible and being efficient are 2 different things. If you wanted something as intricate as MTG, absolutely no.

Dang and here I was going to pitch an idea about a card game like the SNK Vs Capcom Card Fighters Clash games but substantially expand upon the Character Back-Up option. (Such as give the characters in play different abilities, give them higher HP/SP Boosts, protection from things like instant kills, etc.) But now I'm not sure if I should bother.
