Report a translation problem
- Go to Animation tab and create an animation.
- Go to Object tab and create a controllable player object.
- Set the animations correctly.

My question was how to create my own character (sprite) not how to set up their action nodes.
Ah, sorry about that. Usually the questions here are about the engine. This is definitely something I have no good knowledge on, but I do know you can use programs like Aseprite, GIMP, or paint.net to make pixel art.
If you want to become an artist, you'll probably need to take some art courses through youtube.
