didnt work
Dang, looks like another poster with a PS4 controller issues says it worked when the Steam overlay switch was enabled.
Did you check your controller driver settings itself and make sure it's not setup for direct input?
i tried other controllers, switch which i plugged in and a xbox 360 controller, everything works beside the D pad, cant move.
Is this a built game or an actual project your working on?
Wondering if you can send us the project in zip to pgmmv-support@gotchagotcha.jp to see if the dpad is configured correctly. If it's already a built game, there is possibility they didn't configure the game for dpad.
i tried several sample to see if controller will work
Tkool Character
[sample] top down shooter
kero blaster sample
[material] explorer
none i can move by controller
maybe a different way to ply test the games?
Can you email a specific project the controller is not working on to pgmmv-support@gotchagotcha.jp so we can further investigate?
- Select Pixel Game Maker MV
- Turn on your controller
- Click on "Controller Layout" located on the right
- Change the layout at the top to "Gamepad"
That worked for me. Hope it solves your issue.
