How to Setup a Controler in PGM MV ?

I Have a controler pluged-in in my PC and it wokedfine. But when i try to use my controler in my Pixel game maker Project my caracter dont wanna move.
I tryed:
Settings >> Control Key Managment >> Key Settings :
and when i try to set any key button to be a button i want, the controler dont work at all to set any buttons. I just have the vanilla settings but in game they dont even work.
i also tryed:
Creating a [setup] Action and set the Player Object Variable : Controler ID to = 1
but then even the keybord stops working.
anyone knows how to set up a controler ?

Are those the Nvidia controllers? I’m having hard time finding it on google. I’m wondering if the controller doesn’t register as a ps4 or xbox type and is instead direct input. Which PGM supports direct input but it’s alot of trial and error with the buttons.

Enco just a heads up, Steam didn't like those urls for some reason, could you email us the images instead. Just attach them like to the email like normal.

When i test the game and test the controller. The caracter dont move but i can move the mouse whit the Controller. else i cant set or press any buttons under Control Key Managment when i try to set it whit my controller.

i have this problem as well, my gamepad work fine before with pgm mv. I used it to test my project at dec 30th 2021.

now the left joystick become those xyab buttons, the right joystick become mouse cursor ... sad!!!

the gamepad works fine in other games, it's local made but use microsoft xbox driver.

I managed to solve it. It's STEAM related, Settings -> Controller -> Click "General Controller Setting", and I uncheck xbox.

I checked the xbox checkbox a few days ago to deal with some game that don't have config button. Turns out that caused problem to PGM MV

Xbox Configuration Support
and
Xbox Extendet feature support ?
