I'm buying this for said reason otherwise my backup plan is Unity or Godot. I do know a bit of C# so it's not the end of the world if Pixel MV fails...
Legend of Mana's item crafting and other meta systems (suhc as placing the new areas) would be quite difficult to do with our current tools. We're looking into making this easier to do though!
Craft mechanics is not planned to be implemented as a template in the tool in the near future, but we might do it later!
Nevertheless, it is possible to do so by creating the right plug-in, we will have to look into further!
Use of hand-drawn style, such as Vanillaware-style (Odin Sphere/Dragon's Crown), Legend of Mana, Saga Frontier 2, Breath of Fire 3, and other styles are all possible: just a matter of creating them yourself or finding an artist who can create them for you.
And we are looking for sprite artists who want to help create additional content for Pixel Game Maker MV (side-view or top-view) so that we can provide even more content to all creators!
