Joypad support?
Hi, I noticed that Dash Bike Excite seems to be keyboard controlled only, so my question is will Pixel Game Maker MV have support for joypads? If so, which ones, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Steam controller, etc?

I don't know if you actually plugged in a game pad to try it out, but I used an Xinput (360) and an old school direct input controller and the game controlled with both.

Thanks Abstract the Origin, that's good to know.

Thanks for asking this - and answering it Abstract, this is all good stuff to know. :D
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I don't know why, but my XBox control could start the game, but not control the bike.

That's weird... Let me check and come back to you!

Hi @VJFranzK
Can you confirm that both the analog stick and the directional buttons on your gamepad were not working?

I wanted to ask about this myself, because when I played both of the demo games, the directional buttons on my controller worked but the analog stick did not. It's a standard Xbox 360 controller.

That may be because the game is currently only made to receive input from the direction buttons. Those who purchase Pixel Game Maker MV will receive the project data, so they can experiment with changing what input is used!

ok, it works using the D-pad! Not the analog stick, which most users will try first.

Also, just pressing a button is better than F5, because we will have to try a lot of times to get past level 2. ; - )
