While I agree Steam needs to get its ♥♥♥♥ together and compete now. They also need to get a spine. If someone uses your platform as a free advertisment platform, only to pull out and leave their free ad behind, after using you to help gain a following, ♥♥♥♥ um. Get 'em out of here.

Let their customers uses Epic Stores Forums for support...oh wait....Or let their game get be showcased on the store not as many people check out.

It's a time Epic Exclusive so it may still be coming out in 6-12 months. But at this point Steam should start punishing Devs that use their store for free press then ♥♥♥♥ off to their competitor.

I agree 100%. This is the second game in two days (I wanted both!) that have pulled this shameful crap. Sure, put your game on Epic. I won't buy it, but that's your right. But advertising on a different service is just a garbage move.

I haven't seen any evidence the Epic exclusive is temporary, and the deal people make with this particular devil is usually permanent, but I think it's fine to advertise on Steam when you at least have a release date on non-Epic platforms. Until then, leaving the Steam page up is scummy and I don't know why Steam doesn't have a zero tolerance policy for it.

Steam should at least lock these boards so people can't just buy this on Epic and use Steam's features to their heart's content, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. Steam is way too nice to these parasites.

It's worth noting that Epic Games Store wasn't even announced when these guys made their Steam page, and they still plan on selling it on Steam. If they left it up solely as an ad, they would have put "Please go buy it on the Epic Games Store." Someone who casually browses through Steam to find it will add it to their wishlist and wait for it to release on Steam like so many other games that don't have release dates on Steam. And the Epic Games Store exclusive deal is temporary, unless you think every developer who said it was still coming to steam was maliciously lying as part of some Epic Games conspiricy. Which is some antivaxxer / flat earther level of living in denial.

O I saw this on Inside gaming added it to my wishlist lucky I checked the discussions. Gonna remove it watch a LP of it when its out and then wont even need to buy it. LOL
