ffmpeg.dll issue
After I played a video, a bunch of "ffmpeg.dll" files were left in the system, and even after closing, they still consume 100% of the CPU.

The problem has been resolved by disabling thumbnails, so this issue no longer occurs. This is clearly a bug—can it be fixed?

This has been a problem for ages and it doesn't seem like they care to fix it. At least now all the files appear under the same process so you can delete them all at the same time but it's still really annoying to deal with it. Sometimes when you restart your controller doesn't work so you have to restart yet again. dumb.
Hello and here is the fix:

1. Download ffmpeg.exe:
https://www.gyan.dev/ffmpeg/builds/ffmpeg-release-full.7z (ffmpeg.exe is inside \bin\ folder)

2. Rename the ffmpeg.exe to ffmpeg.dll (Disable "Hide extensions for known file types" if you can't)

3. Replace it with the ffmpeg.dll in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DeoVR Video Player\DeoVR_Data\Plugins\x86_64\

4. Enjoy and leave an award :)

EXPLANATION:
ffmpeg.dll inside DeoVR is not a DLL file. It is an EXE file. It just has a wrong file extension.
And this ffmpeg file is somehow broken to hang on thumbnail generation for some video files.
