h.265 video lagging so hard (6k-7k)

Hi ! Well i have problem.

I reinstalled my Windows and i was sure i was able to load 7k video IN VR.

I tried to install LAV FILTER and K-lite CODEC

I put hardware decoder to use on DXVA 2, D3D11, NVIDIA CUVID But nothing work.

I suppose i Have the encoder, bcs i can load the video without any lag in vlc or others media player.

But when i use DEO in VR, The video lagging SO HARD.

I tried to use older version of DEO VR but it doesnt work.

And the HECV Encoder from microsoft store is impossible to access bcs i got full white popup.


Sooo I searched a lot and a lot on internet but didnt find anything.

(i also tried to put on and off direct show and unity player).

But Direct show never to be off.

My graphic card is a 3090

My headset is an Acer H101

I saw some people who said, we can desactivated LAV. How ?

Try it again without all the CODECs, so uninstall that ♥♥♥♥. You don't even need that since you want to use hardware decoding.

I had the same problem and tried everything. Bought HereSphere player and problems vanished,

The DirectShow should be off, not on.
If it's on, you haven't install the MS HEVC DECODER yet.
