Crashing with latest version?

I noticed recently that there were a couple updates(stealth, no release notes that I could find). Now it seems that the app kind of crashes after a few moments after launching. Might take a bit longer but will always crash. And when I say crash, the video playing goes away and I return to my default home environment, but I can still hear the video playing. There's no way to recover other than quitting the app. It's apparently completely broken for me now. <sigh>

Running latest version of SteamVR Beta on Index. No other issues with any other games or apps at the moment. Wasn't any particular video I was playing. Tried many others known to work and still get the same kind of crashing between a few seconds to a minute at most.

Not sure if it was one of these recent updates(whatever they were) or a recent steam update, but something changed somewhere that's causing DeoVR to mess up.

Please investigate because I don't think it is anything other than your app that's causing the problem. Really not sure why such a simple app should always be having major issues like this. First it was the not remembering playback position. That got fixed but then broke the A/B looping. That got fixed and now the app just crashes. <sigh again>

Cannot even open it now on a Quest 2

I'm having this problem too. Epic fail. I never understand why some companies don't test their own software before releasing it.
Anyone find a solution yet?
