No sound in DeoVR on Oculus Quest 2

Every time when i open DeoVR, sound from the VR device suddenly dissapear. In the same time, sound from PC still going on. When i close DeoVR, sound return to the VR device and keep going both as VR as PC. In every other app soun goes normal (from both sources). Where is the problem and how can i fix this?

try in pc settings-system-sound-scroll down to advanced options-click app volume and device pref. you may find that steam is muted or not set to your hmd. hope this helps,but if you ever get the chance to get an index or vive with a top spec. pc, vr will be a better place than corporation driven occubust ! 😆

DeoVR is the only one app where sound is missing. Other steam apps works normally.

the problem has solved (some kind of)
In my case, option "unity player" returned sound for the most part of videos

It seems you are using tether method of running DeoVR player.
Quest 2 can decode 8k videos natively. You don't really need to use the tether method to play the videos in your computer.
If Quest 2 cannot see your video files, I recommend using a media organizer called "Stash", which Quest 2 can browse the posters and choose the video to play. My special built Stash for DeoVR is here:
