SBS Video do not working as SBS (Insta360 EVO)

Thank you for a nice player. Definitely one of the best VR player on the market.

Here is a strange problem I found.
I made 180 SBS video using Insta360 EVO camera.
Then I convert original .insv file to .mp4 using Insta360 Studio.
When I open this file in Desktop Player I see normal SBS 180 video.
BUT! When I open this file in DEO VR it's working as 2D 180 video... only one side of video shows on the screen.

Found strange solution.
Using AVIDEMUX convert video file to the same .mp4 without recopression... but it works now!:)

Interesting. I am glad you made it work. I will investigate this matter why that happens and ask my colleagues about it.

Same problem for me with insta360evo .mp4 files
Avidemux do the trick, but i get some video freeze

1. First. You can download and check original video from the camera after converting:

2. Second, more intresting! I got the same problem after rendering video in Adobe Premiere
if checkbox "VR video" is set in the render setting!

I also realized that the Player do not play the video with H265 codec, shows just a black screen.

hello same problem for me, my insta360 EVO 180° 3D videos dont show up in 3D, only Mono works.

2. Yeah VR video setting is not working as you would expect. You need to leave that unchecked.

For h265 videos you would need codecs.

We recommend:

HEVC Video extensions[www.microsoft.com]

And one of those two:

K-Lite codec pack[www.codecguide.com]

LAV filters[github.com]
