this is a few versions back, so it's missing some features that were added in the version before the newest update (like more than one fisheye format)

I tried and i did back v8.55 - now all 8K vids work fine like before !

i downloaded deovr v8.5.5 via DepotDownloader, replace deovr video player folder content with files from this zip file. if steam updates the deovr, replace the files again.

If you want to rollback to the version with the old GUI you can do the following:
Open SteamConsole, if not present run the command below via WIN+R to do so.
steam://open/console
then just run the following command to get the old version in a different directory
download_depot 837380 837381 1272271452981983245
When it is finished it presents you the location on your disk where you can find it.
Keep it there or move it somewhere else. It will never get updated again.
