Dialogue-Sound cut on Windows 10

For me, it helped to set the ChoM2.exe on compatibility mode with Windows Vista. If anyone has the same issue.

[Probably works the same way for Chronicles of Mystery: The Scorpio Ritual. Didn't test it yet, though.]

Doesn't work for me. I have tried every single "fix" I could find and none of them work. I have tried a nocd patch, replaced installutil.dll, used just 1 cpu in the affinity settings, ran the .exe as admin, used win7/xp/vista compatibility settings, downloaded and installed "another" version (the same happens in that one too).
Anyone have any ideas? I just want to finish it without the voices cutting out :(

Actually gets worse for me with Vista (or SP2 or SP3) comp.

If I don't remember wrong in Chronicles of Mystery: The Scorpio Ritual the problem was due to setting the monitor refresh rate higher than 60, so I think here might be the same problem...

this game stole my money,game will not move people standing in one spot,can't move them,how do i get my money back?

I tried all mentioned fixes here but none of them work. So I tried contacting City Interactive S.A. but they said they no longer provide support for this game.

I tried compatiblity with all windows versions, setting launching options to +fps_max 60 and I also tried reducing my core usage also.

Nothing worked.

Apparently there might be a fix by trying to use the nvidia settings and changing it to triple buffering but I have to try it myself.
