Problem: My BDO account from Steam is for the SEA Server but Steam is downloading the Turkey Client. Making my steam account unable to play BDO
Warning: The solution will demand a lot of time and a lot of downloading. This worked for me and my friend, hopefully it works for you too.
Solution
-Go to https://www.sea.playblackdesert.com/main/index and download the SEA Client.
-Go to Steam and download BDO
-Go to the SEA Client file location and ONLY copy the "locales" folder and the rest of the files ignoring the folders. (refer to screenshot 1)
-Go to your Steam Library and right-click BDO and click "properties", "LOCAL FILES", and "BROWSE LOCAL FILES".
-Paste what you copied from the SEA Client and make sure to click "Replace all" or "Replace".
-Launch BDO using Steam (You should now be able to login and see the client properly without the "Invalid Steam Account" message in the middle).
-Wait for the download and once it's finished it MIGHT tell you that a file is corrupt, ignore this message and restart the client.
-Once the client starts again it should verify the files and tell you the same message but this time you click "Scan Files". (Refer to Screenshot 2)
-Wait until it's done and you should be able to click "Start Game"
@Misa Thanks for replying! Sadly I saw this late but luckily me and my friend found that solution! Thank you tho. I made a guide so anyone who's having the same problem could just follow this.
This not working for me, I'm still at Turkey server
