Patching Error: "Failed to apply the patch."

After downloading the game here on Steam, the launcher then always fails to apply the very first patch downloaded (577.pap) at 3%. I have done the "Scan Files" option from the launcher and re-downloaded the game three times for supposed file repair. A check at the 'update.log' located in the game files reveal that the error may seem to originate from the invalid 'BlackDesert32.exe' file found by the launcher. A snippet of the error text is shown below.

Is there any existing way to solve this problem?

update the patch with enable the windows safe mode, then update BDO. after complete update the bdo u can go back to normal windows

Even if it’s white its still patching, just wait for awhile (probably depends on your net connection, estimate how long it would patch to be sure so you wont have to go back and forth from safe mode and normal boot) and when you return to normal boot the launcher should already be patched

i tried it but it still doesnt work, my launcher was blank white and i just left it for 2 hours and its still says failed to apply patch file

Wutever you do,i think the best is dont scan file.its only going to re-download again.i've tried thise things but i notice there's afew many severs to choose.i was at belenos server playing there & after quest at balenos i move on to the next city.After failing my attemp to download at balenos server,i tried at the next server & to my surprised ,i'm loaded there.i'm not sure yet if its solve the issue.Just try them,even its crowded.

hmmm?! i just did a scan file and it fixed it. idk maybe the difference in your pc system?? anyway try scan file, it might work
