This is a weird issue, we'll have to take a good look at this one. Maybe focus? For now, you can presumably still change the settings using keyboard/mouse, right?
I'm not sure what is the exact rationally behind all the default bindings, and I don't think that there's a quick way to change them to Talos1 settings - but you still can do it manually, one by one. I don't quite understand what you mean by clunky controls, you'll have to be a bit more specific on this one. With what little controller testing I've done, I didn't have much issues, but I don't generally used controllers so I wouldn't know how it feels compared to other games. There is an issue where at low FPS movement continues even after input stops. We'd like to fix this one, but no promises.
Yes, performance is proportional to the power of your hardware, but it is also inversely proportional to the cost of of the game - including physics, game logic, rendering, and other things. Compared to Talos Principle 1, yes, it will throw out less frames, but I would say that the visual difference is also pretty significant, no?
If all you care about is performance, you should set all the settings to low. Since probably you want better performance but still retain as much graphic fidelity as possible, I would suggest playing with the settings and see which ones fit you the best. There should also be an autodetect option, could try that as well.
Regarding the motion sickness, there should be some settings to help with that in the first (gameplay) settings tab, so please do check these out!
Yes the only real bug is the settings menu stuff, but that's easily bypassed for now with keyboard/mouse.
Controls: I may just need to get used to a new layout, but yeah I might do a bit of remapping, glad the option is there. The puzzle "clunkiness" I guess I mean the cursor movement is quite slow with a controller.
Graphics: fair point, the visuals are more advanced for sure. I'm going to take everything down a notch and decrease FOV, I'm guessing that will resolve my problem.
Thanks!
