Stepped past tetromino puzzle without solving it
In the second megastructure sequence, I was working on a tetromino puzzle, and landed on a solution that put me NEAR the exit without actually connecting it up properly; but I was close enough that I was able to just step off onto solid ground next to the gate (rather than into the second gate).

Here is a screenshot of me at the far end, looking back, with the puzzle having erased itself behind me because I stepped off without 'completing' it: https://imgur.com/RGWPtJE

after walking on from there, I realised that actually this bridge only leads me in a circle back to somewhere that I've already been anyway, so I'm not even sure if this puzzle has a meaningful "front" or "back", but, figured it's worth bringing up anyway

This just happened to me on a gravity-defying bridge puzzle while freeing Prometheus. I was on my way to the giant pin behind him (not on his arms). I had to create a bridge horizontally and the last piece was vertical and I had to hop onto the side to get to the end. However, when I stepped off of it the bridge disappeared and didn't solve. Now I can't get back because the arrangement of tetrominoes is different coming from the other side. And there's no other way back. I think I have bricked my save as I cannot figure out how to load earlier checkpoints in save profile like you could in Talos 1.

EDIT: Turns out you can run and jump off from where the pin is removed from the chains to get back to the other side safely and solve the bridge puzzle from the correct side.
