Unable to enter golden gate puzzles, even though all lost puzzles are complete

Game reports all the lost puzzles complete (100% completion), yet golden gates show two out of 24 puzzles not complete. Do I need to redo all 24 puzzles, or is there another way? The lights on the golden gates light up one after the other regardless of which puzzle is solved, so I do not know which puzzles it failed to register.

Just wondering, did you enter the megastructure the fourth time? You need to enter it in order to unlock the doors.

Can confirm I am having the same issue, unfortunately I am playing the game on the PS5 so I cannot send over a save file.

I have completed 100% of the puzzles, the stars, and entered the megastructure four times, saving Byron and reached the point where a new mayor has been elected.

On the map every single area has marked as 100% completion other than the 0/1 Gold Puzzles.

For the golden gates, all 24 lights are lit up, and the two Triangles on the top left are lit up, but only the top triangle on the right is lit up. The bottom one is still dim, and the gates wont open.

Edit: Game crashed, and when I came back into it the goal changed and the gates were fixed.

It changed from "Return to the VTOL" to "Return to the VTOL, Solve remaining puzzles (Optional)".

Yes, sure, I have all four triangles on the top of the golden gate blue.

Hello, I've got quite less far in the game but seem to be experiencing a similar bug.

I've finished every single puzzle on E1, E2, E3 and N1. So a total of 40 : I should have 8 blue circle lights on the golden gates if I understood how it works, right ? But I only have 6, along with one triangle up top...

I think it's like that since E3 for me : I had only 4 blue circle lights after finishing all 10 puzzles there - even though I already had 4 before getting there.

Can upload my save too if of any use.

Anyway, thanks for the amazing, meaningful game :)

You have E3-7 unsolved which is why you can't open golden gates.
No matter what puzzles solved - main ones or lost ones, once you have 8 in total you can activate the tower and when you have more than that it counts towards golden gate counter.

Ahh, I completely missed that! I was focused solely on status of the lost puzzles for this, as I understood they're the only important ones for the golden doors, from the ingame dialogues. Thanks!

Hello - I'm experiencing this issue too, where I have completed all lost puzzles and they show as completed on the map of areas, but one light on all the golden doors remains unlit. I have also visited the megastructure four times. Because of the one unlit lost puzzle light the golden doors remain locked to me.

A difficulty I have troubleshooting this is that I'm playing TP2 through NVidia's GeForce Now site, so I don't have access to the remote device that's actually running the game.

Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. I understand I can play toward an endgame that does not involve golden puzzles, but it feels like missing out that I can't even get a look at them and try / solve some or all of them.

I feel very dumb now, particularly since it was mentioned earlier in the thread. There was a puzzle I had inadvertently skipped but was able to power up the beam because I had solved the lost puzzles. Now that I have completed it the golden doors are open. Thanks for the reminder!
