Save Game Lost

I'm having problems with my save, my pc crashes and when it starts again there is no save in the game, i Already did a backup every time i made some progress but anyone know how to stop having this issue? I lost a lot of progress multiple times and its the only game that this happens

Hey there, can you please try the following solution and let me know if it worked.

1. Close the game
2. Locate the save file folder

...\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Talos2\Saved\SaveGames\

3. Move your current save file out of it. If you are playing on the first save slot card, that is the file savedata_0.sav, if you're playing on the second card it is savedata_1.sav etc.
4. Locate the backup save files associated with your playthrough, e.g. if you are playing on the second save slot card, they should be named savedata_1_backup_0.sav and savedata_1_backup_1.sav.
5. Rename the most recently changed backup file between these two to savedata_1.sav.
6. Launch the game again, your save should be restored to a slightly outdated backup point.
7. If this somehow didn't work, try also renaming the other backup save file.

Which zone, did you solve lost puzzles and stars? Did you participate in a secret society? Please let us know and we will be happy to help :)
