Motion blur/ghosting - how to completely disable?
It's not really possible to show this in a screenshot but *any time* there is motion, I am experiencing a subtle blur effect, most noticeable on foliage, which immediately stops on standing still. I've tried a bunch of different combinations of graphics settings and it seems the least migraine inducing so far on native resolution (no SS or AI upscaling, just TAAU), but is still present.

Anyone know whether this is something inherent to the way the game is rendered regardless of settings, or if it's possible to retain a sharp image during motion, even if it is at the expense of worse graphics or performance?

This is as migraine prevention. I've tested much older games like HL2 to make sure i'm not just misremembering how motion blur (or a lack of) should look, and that doesn't have this effect, so it's definitely something certain modern games like TP2 have started to have.

I am experiencing the same issue and it's very distracting and I can't fully appreciate the game :(

Have you disabled motion blur in video options menu?

Sorry for the delay, Motion blur is disabled, but the effect is extremely prevalent in the central elevator in the home world. When going between the horizontal structures that line the elevator, the rendering of the city below refreshes from blurry and comes back into focus, then as you go past the next horizontal bar it goes back to blurry and re-renders into focus again.

It was also very obvious in the starting zone, where all of the hieroglyphs would be in focus when stationary, but as soon as you move, it becomes fuzzy, leaving some sort of smeared shadow behind each part

Strange. Can you share some videos or sshots of the issue, please?

Have you tried TSR upsampling method and Native upsampling present?

I will get some proofs to you around 18:00 GMT.

The "HDR broken?" discussion has somebody reporting this issue, with video, proving that it's frame gen related.

I use AMD, and non-HDR

It is still viewable through the video compression, but not as clear. You can see the dome buildings increase in fidelity between sections and reset.
The hieroglyphs get like a super sharpened shadow and over bright when moving, especially visible towards the end, around the knees and shins of the statues

These were recorded at Native 1440p, medium settings on all but Ultra on Anti-Aliasing, Radeon RX5600 XT

PLEASE IGNORE ALL THIS, AND I APOLOGISE FOR WASTING YOUR TIME.
I checked with my second less fancy monitor, and it appears that monitor settings were causing the issue...
I can't apologise enough.
My "Response Time" setting was set to "Fastest" because Fastest means bestest right?
Apparently its just garbage "gaming monitor" speak for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up
