You might think the fan would be the answer, but you can't get both the fan, box and connector on top of that while one of your clone's is up on the ledge (since something needs to always be holding down the pressure plate to the emitter). So you need another way to make the connector easier for you to reach from up there.
Again, the hint is in the title. How else could you get the connector to be a little bit higher, given that you can only use 3 things out of the 4 available to you (connector, cube, fan blade, clone).
Huh? So one clone can hand stuff to another clone?
What's the difference between BORROW and LEND?
:-)
Not explicitly, no. However, in the base game, there was a level in Region North 1, where you get the 'cloning' ability for the first time, I think it had the name "Gift", where a clone had to give you something while standing on a box to reach to you. So if you played and finished TTP2, you were exposed to this mechanic.
I always solved this puzzle by placing the connector on that box at the wall, and then fetch it from above.
This one was driving my crazy. The moment I read your post, I got what you need to do and solved it. Thank you :).
