"The Cutoff Quandary" - What is the goal?
DLC, Yakut's green 7: I see a clone, a cube, a platform, two upward facing fans, a jammer (to disable the fans), a driller (to open the middle wall at two different heights), and a red laser with two connectors (and nothing else to connect to). The win table is in a cage with no visible indication of how it opens.

What are we trying to accomplish with all these bits? I can handle taking a while to figure out a clever move, but here there is no suggestion of what the puzzle even is. How do we open that cage?

The platform suggests stacking the clones, but why? The laser and connectors seem completely pointless (but can't be, of course). The cube, fans, and jammer suggest something with elevation, but with nothing to connect the laser to, again that seems pointless. What am I missing?

Also if the devs see this, please add the fast travel maps to the compass. I am doing these in number order (all the 1s, then all the 2s, etc.), and the warp maps are the only thing I need help finding.

Im stuck on this one myself right now. I'm guessing we need to block the laser from whereever its shooting too.
The jammer could be used to turn off the fan. A block could be sat with a reflector on it. My next thought was to get a reflector up on the other fan and block the lase with itself.

The problem here is there is nothing to set the 2nd reflector to.

As you have mentioned, the driller allows for 2 different heights and there is a platform making it seem like we could stack clones. Neither of those "seem" useful.

This puzzle took me ages. I correctly guessed an end-state which would open the cage, but couldn't figure out how to get there until I watched a video of the solution.
Here are some hints which should get you to the solution...

The vertical beam hits a receiver which keeps the cage closed. You need to block the beam to make the cage open. (Also, the receiver is just visible if you get on top of a cube on an active fan.)

Block the vertical beam by connecting both connectors to the emitter and to each other, and having them both lifted by the fans.

One connector can be lifted if it's on a cube on a fan.

The other connector needs to be on a platform carried by a clone, and that clone on a fan. This is fairly difficult in this puzzle, and needs some some trickery. (Edit for correction - see TFMurphy's later comment.)

First put a connector on the cube on an active fan, then...
Carry the platform, and jump on the same fan. You'll end up with connector on cube on platform on clone, then...
Use the other clone to take the cube. The connector will end up on sitting on the platform on a clone. Now you can use the cube to lift the other connector.

Turns out I had the right idea but the game was being janky. I figured you could hold the platform above your head and put the other reflector on top of it. It wasn't letting me do it until i jumped up into the driller hole and then it let me set the reflector on top of the clone.

From there, the clone could act like the other box.

Sure there is. But do remember that you can't put something on a platform carried by another clone unless you're higher up: so you have to be standing on a cube yourself, then put the connector on the platform already carried by the clone (that's what the higher level drill walls are for).

Thanks, everyone! I haven't gone back to solve this yet, but with those spoilers, I can at least make an attempt now.

Devs: Please don't make us guess what's happening in places we can't see!

They are not making you guess -- you can clearly see the beam... The level layout should be pretty obvious, what with the two vertical fans right on the diagonal.

This is one of the best puzzles in the game - so clever.

This is the key to the puzzle and something I took a long time to discover !!!!

Devs, please don't buckle like you did with The Intruder in patch 2.1.0.

god, this puzzle is so convoluted. I had to search for hints on how to even proceed.
