This definitive edition revisits the groundbreaking narrative of The Talos Principle, immersing players in an expanded and remastered journey through the world of the Simulation.

The Talos Principle: Reawakened introduces new content, enhanced gameplay, and a gorgeously upgraded presentation.

Rebuilt with Unreal Engine 5, the Simulation world you remember is now more immersive and detailed than ever before. Enhanced lighting, textures, and environmental design breathe new life into every corner of the game, alongside modernized quality-of-life updates that maintain the vision of the original classic.

Played through the original three times. Wishlisted and probably will play the remaster first day...
That being said, I hope they have a plan for TTP3, as well! I want to visit the Anomaly!

This is just “Mind Blown” in a good way:)
It takes a strong heart to endure this news:D But it was the Talos Principle that tempered us in its time!
Damjan Mravunac's music has the power to delight, to heal. I wanted to vote for “Best Soundtrack 2024” - Road to Elysium, but Steam banned nominations for dlc, so I voted for Talos 2 in the “Labor of Love” nomination.

Seems kinda pointless to me. I don't find much enjoyment in merely going through to motions and completing a bunch of puzzles I already know the answer to.

Sounds good, I'll give it a try. Been playing TTP, RTG, and TT2 since the beginning 14 or 15 years ago. This most recent DLC left me cold and I didn't even finish the game. In fact, it left such a bitter taste that I really haven't been playing any Talos Priciple games lately. Maybe this release will get back to basics and forgo all the glitz!

I agree with you, but sometimes putting a new face on an old game gives you a spark to rediscover that feeling of playing the original in a new way, if that makes sense. I've played through TTP many times since its release, I only hope this remaster doesn't turn out like Roger Waters Dark Side of the Moon redux. LOL

It's not just for the existing players of the original, who, by the looks of it, will get extra content, as well. But, it's also a means to make it more appealing to people who have never played it, if for nothing else than TTP being 10 years old.

And if the remaster somehow makes it more possible for them to make TTP3, it's all the more worth it.
I'm guessing it will drop support for Windows 7 by requiring DX12?

TTP2 doesn't support Win 7, so it's a safe bet that the remake won't, either.
Why would it, though?

Of course it will. No one releases new games in 2024 and beyond that support Windows 7. Windows 7 can only play older games that were released in the past.
