Question about the DLC puzzles
According to comments I have read on this forum, two episodes of the DLC are focused on 'laser' puzzles only. Not just lasers, but intersecting lasers with sometimes hard to understand (?) blocking and unblocking mechanics.

Assuming this is true and that I mostly understand the game mechanics from TTP1 and TTP2 and TTP1: Road to Gehenna..

Does the DLC content 'teach' you progressively how the new laser interactions work and the effects of adjusting them? Or, are players thrown in the deep-end and expected to experiment in order to discover how these game mechanics work?

DLC1 "Orpheus Ascending" is laser-only, and its initial 16 puzzles are an extended training session on a few laser mechanics/aspects, with its finale puzzle being a bit like a final exam. The Orpheus gold puzzles are a step-up in difficulty (on par w/ Abyss puzzles), but there's a training aspect to them, as well, if approached in a certain order.

DLC3 "Into the Abyss" has a mix of tools, though is laser-heavy, which some would argue is necessary to bump the difficulty level above what's possible with the other tools. The Abyss puzzles are more standalone, and don't follow the instructional path of Orpheus Ascending.

Thanks for the explanation!

Abyss puzzles are Laser heavy but Abyss does have a lot of puzzles that aren't just lasers. Mainly because the laser mechanic is the meat of Talos and has a TON of depth. ESPECIALLY with the introduction of the new laser mechanics in Talos 2.
