Any way to restore to a previous save state?

Act V spoilers ahead. Haven't played past the part I'm describing so would appreciate no spoilers.



After Pandora gives the electric shock and weeks pass and I awake, the lady that fixed me asked what I plan to do next, and I accidentally chose an option that I didn't really agree with. By the time I got to the Megastructure I realized I'm stuck on this path that I didn't mean to choose until the end of the game, which is extremely disappointing to me. I would much prefer to experience the ending I would have chosen the first time around, especially if I'm going to have to do all the puzzles in the Megastructure again.

Is there any way to go back to the start of Act V and choose a different path without playing through all of Act V? I noticed that there were backup saves in appdata but they only go back a few minutes.

Thank you! The backups didn't go very far but enabling the "Load checkpoint" menu was able to get me back to the decision point. I really appreciate it!

For what it's worth, that decision didn't fix you on any path anyway. In the end game you are always free to make the final decision as you choose.
